MTANZ’s 2025–2027 Strategic Plan sets a clear direction for strengthening New Zealand’s medical technology sector focused on patient outcomes, system sustainability, and meaningful influence across the health system.
Over the next three years, MTANZ will deliver this strategy through four connected pillars: Government Affairs and Advocacy, Market Access, Regulatory Reform, and Membership Value and Ethical Leadership. Together, these priorities will guide our work to modernise settings for medical devices, improve access to innovation, strengthen our engagement with decision-makers, and ensure MTANZ remains a trusted, credible voice for the sector in New Zealand.
